Dear Y,
How are you? Hope you are well by the grace of Almighty. I am also well here. Today I have taken pen and paper to tell you a very important matter. And that is the bad effect of over population in our country. Here I go:

It is quite known to you that ours is an over populated country. Population is regarded as asset to a country. But at the same time it creates some problems. The first problem is employment problem. It is difficult, in a sense impossible, to employ all the people with a suitable job. Because the number of job vacancy is much less than the number of unemployed population. As a result, many unemployed youth get addicted to drugs and commit different social crimes.

Next comes its impact on environment. Extra population needs extra housing. To fulfill their need, forest and arable lands are used for making residential areas. To supply necessary amount of fuel and furniture log, a huge number of trees are cut down. As a result deforestation occurs and it affects our ecology seriously.

Educating the increasing population is another big challenge for the country. The present ratio of teacher and student in our country is not of high standard. More than 80 or even more students sit in a class. So, it is difficult to provide quality education. At the same time, many students drop out and remain illiterate life long.

This letter is getting longer. It is not possible describe all the bad effects in a single letter. I will write you another letter soon about it. No more today. Waiting for your reply.

Convey my regards to your parents.
Your loving friend
