TV has become an important part of our life. Once, TV was sign of aristocracy. But now almost every family has a TV set. People pass their leisure period watching TV. It is a popular form of entertainment not only in our country but also all over the world. Like many other people I also watch TV in my free time. There are numerous channels and numerous programmes. Different people like different programmes. I also like a programme. My favaurite TV programme is Ittadi. Once BTV was the only TV channel in our country. But, now there are many channels. Yet, people watch BTV now for Ittadi. The programme is telecast after each three months. Like millions of people of Bangladesh, I wait eagerly for the show. It is a package magazine show. BTV has been telecasting Ittadi for more than 25 years. Each episode has its uniqueness. Mr. Hanif Sanket, the host and director of the programme, is a popular face in our country. He upholds different social problems in a humorous way. Besides, he represents our own culture to the whole world. At the day of Ittadi, we whole family sit in front of the TV set to enjoy the programme. It's true that there are many channels in our country. But most of their programmes are not enjoyable. On the other hand Indian channels have become a medium of cultural aggression. But, Ittadi is deeply related to our culture. It has a part that shows different places of the world. It increases our knowledge. Ittadi finds out people who have extraordinary skill or contribution to the society. They are given a huge amount of money. There should be more programmes like Ittadi. Then, we will be able to uphold our culture before the world community.
