Paragraph- Traffic Jam

When many vehicles clog up together, it is called traffic jam.The place may be a street or a highway. It is very common in our country, particularly in big cities like Dhakaand Chittagong. It happens when different vehicles want to move ahead overtaking each other. Other reasons of traffic jam are the deplorable street conditions and the violation of the traffic rules. We feel much helpless and frustrated when we get stuck in a traffic jam. Many people fail to attend their office duty in time. The worst victims are the patients carried in the ambulances to hospitals and clinics. Rickshaw pullers and taxi-drivers also suffer a lot, because they lose their time. The transportation of the daily commodities gets delayed. Examines bound to examination hall bear untold sufferings. Sometimes, examines fail to attend their examinations in time which may cause a great trouble in their life. Reckless driving and ignorant car owners are also responsible for traffic jam. Sometimes, rich people park their cars here and there. Big shopping malls do not keep sufficient space for car parking. As a result, customers park their vehicles on road and cause traffic jam. Our defective traffic control system is not less responsible in this regard. Traffic jam can be removed if some measures can be taken. Widening the streets, making flyovers at the main crossings, reducing the number of rickshaws are mentionable. Above all growing public awareness is necessary for removing traffic jam.
